"Over the past 40 years I have sewn everything from clothing to soft sculpture. My focus lately has been on home decor: quilted pillows, wall hangings and soft sculpture items. Because fabric affords an endless variety of color and texture, it is a perfect medium to create items that are functional as well as being pleasing to the senses. I enjoy hand embroidery and often use it in combination with beads to accent an individual piece."

"I'm a self-taught quilter. All of my designs are original and are basically one of a kind. I enjoy working with a variety of fabrics, mainly silk and cotton batiks."
