"I work with the printmaking medias of silkscreen, woodblock and collograph prints as well as painting in oils. My subjects are landscapes and vernacular buildings of Jefferson County. I have done series of barns and churches and regularly represent historic houses.

"I want to document the rural character of the area. The work is realistic, detail and finish are determined by the printmaking or painting media. My objective is to dramatize the subject and composition with detail, color, intensity and value."
