"Colored pencil is such a happy medium. I feel like a kid with a new box of crayons
when I sit down to draw, the box with 72 colors! Good paper is a must. My favorite
is a thick black cotton rag, with a soft smooth finish. Allowing the process of
getting bits of dreams onto paper and knowing it will be something different from
what the mind conjures up is my major practice.
"Being on the tour is wonderful for me. I like getting together with my friends,
Tom and Sandy D’onofrio, on their beautiful property along with my other “tour mates”,
Steve and Jan Adams... and seeing people like you! See you in November on the
studio tour and/or see you in the summer at the Mens’ Club when we are almost ALL
together in one room in downtown Shepherdstown."
