Using a hand adz, scorp and wood chisel, Steve Adams makes bowls the old fashioned way from a block of wood, out of a hardwood tree that he has cut down. His newest bowls are made from burls that grow around a wound in a living tree and create fascinating structures. He chops and chisels away the bark to reveal the tree’s hidden potential.
